Support Worker

I began working for CQC in April 2021 as I needed a job that was flexible to fit into our busy lives and enabled me to travel back and forth to our second home in France.

I started looking after the elderly in their own homes and loved it straight away  and  wished I had done this type of work years ago, in February 2023 my role changed to support worker for a young girl with complex needs and learning difficulties, we had lots of training but  this was so different to anything I had ever done but I wanted to make as much of a difference to her young life as possible and I have to say when I make her laugh and see the trust in her eyes it’s definitely the right job for me, I look forward to going to work which is very rare nowadays.
